Applications for the 2026 LPD Citizens Academy Are Now Closed
Thank you to everyone who applied for the 2026 Lawrence Police Department Citizens Academy. We appreciate the strong interest in this 11-week program and the opportunity it provides for residents to get a behind-the-scenes look at how LPD serves our community.
The application period has now ended, and the application has been removed for this year.
If you missed this cycle, don’t worry — we plan to offer the Citizens Academy again in the future. Please follow the City of Lawrence and LPD for updates on the next application period.
