Lawrence Utilities crews are continuing their annual spring water main flushing through May 1, 2026.

This important maintenance helps keep our water system clean, safe, and operating at its best, but you may notice a few temporary changes:
- Slight discoloration (yellow to orange/red tint)
- Brief drops in water pressure

If this happens:
- Run cold water at a medium flow until it clears
- Avoid using hot water or doing laundry until the water is clear
