Volunteers Supporting The Sharing Place

For more than 40 years, The Sharing Place Food Pantry has supported families facing food insecurity in our community.

As part of the City of Lawrence’s Live Longer in Lawrence initiative, City volunteers spent time yesterday helping organize and distribute food at The Sharing Place’s temporary Oaklandon Road location. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that continues to make a meaningful difference for local families every day.

The pantry will be closed June 1–5 while moving back to 6501 Sunnyside Road and will reopen June 8.
