Cool off at Fort Ben Branch

With dangerously hot temperatures this week, remember that the Fort Ben Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library is available as a cooling station during regular business hours. There is no charge to come inside and cool off if you need relief from the heat.
A Heat Advisory is in effect now through Thursday evening. Heat index values are expected to reach the 100s, with the most dangerous conditions expected Wednesday and Thursday.
Stay safe! Try to limit outdoor activities, wear lightweight, loose fit clothing and drink plenty of fluids.
