Roundabout Construction Update: 75th Street & Oaklandon

We have an important update regarding the upcoming roundabout project at 75th Street and Oaklandon Road.

Following several project delays related to utility work, we have received confirmation that the remaining utility work is expected to be completed and turned over to our contractor, Howard Companies, on Monday, August 17, 2026.

Beginning August 17, the intersection will be fully closed so construction of the new roundabout can begin.

The full closure is currently expected to last approximately 60 to 90 days, depending on weather and construction conditions.

Road closure signs will be updated in advance to reflect the new closure date. If you regularly travel through this intersection, now is a good time to begin planning for detours and alternate routes.

We understand this project has experienced several delays, and we appreciate your patience as we work toward improving safety and traffic flow at this intersection.
