Lawrence Community Safety Day 2026 is moving to Lee Road Park this year!
Join us on Saturday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 6200 Lee Road for this free, family friendly event celebrating the people who help keep our community safe.
- Meet Lawrence Police officers and firefighters
- Watch exciting live demonstrations
- Enjoy free giveaways
- Grab a bite from local food vendors
- Connect with community organizations and local resources
One of the highlights each year is the friendly competition between the Lawrence Police Department and City of Lawrence Fire Department. With our new location, you might even see a few new surprises!
