CSX Crossing Closures

CSX has notified the City of Lawrence that it plans to close the railroad crossings at Franklin Road and 47th Street for maintenance and repairs from Monday, September 21, through Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow the posted detour routes during the closure. The planned detour map is included below.
