Traffic Alert: Boy Scout Road Closure 8/5

The City of Lawrence will temporarily close Boy Scout Road for an emergency repair beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
 
The closure is expected to remain in effect until approximately 9:00 p.m. on August 5, 2026, at which time the roadway is anticipated to reopen.
 
The limits of the closure are shown on the map below. The designated detour route will be Wallingwood Drive.
