Post Road Traffic Restriction

Lawrence Utilities will be performing an emergency water main repair near 4700 Post Road beginning Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
To safely complete the repair, traffic will be restricted in the work area and northbound traffic will be temporarily directed into the bus lane.
Work is anticipated to begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, and continue through at least Wednesday, August 26. The duration of the traffic restriction may change depending on the conditions encountered during the repair.
Motorists should use caution when traveling through the area, follow all posted traffic-control devices and directions from personnel, and expect delays.
The City appreciates the public's patience and cooperation while this necessary water main repair is completed.
