Community Champions and Big Brothers Big Sisters

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this week’s Community Champions Meetup at the Lawrence Community Center!

We heard from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana Volunteer Engagement Manager Eric Saunders about the importance of mentorship and the organization’s new partnerships with MSD of Lawrence Township.

We also heard from Generations Community Bank about their work helping create economic growth and build wealth in overlooked communities across Indiana.

The City of Lawrence is proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters this week as we highlight the importance of mentorship. Look for green signs throughout the City, and keep an eye out for City employees wearing green in support!
