Road Closure Update: CSX Railroad Repairs

CSX is continuing repairs to its railroad tracks in Lawrence, and some railroad crossing closures are occurring differently than the schedule previously provided to the City.

Here are the latest updates we have:

• Sunnyside Road: Closed today and expected to remain closed for approximately 2–3 days. This closure is occurring about a week earlier than previously communicated.
• Brandon Street: Expected to close tonight for approximately 2–3 days.
• 47th Street: Remains closed and is expected to reopen Wednesday.
