Caroling Cops provide holiday cheer

November 30, 2016

Five Lawrence Police officers have combined their talents to create a new singing group, the Caroling Cops. Officers Jamon Jack, Brian Robertson, Eric Trost, Steve Fishburn, and Diane Mack have taken their vocal talents to the streets. Their first appearance was last weekend at the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony near the Sterrett Center. They sang "Winter Wonderland" and "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" to the crowd of 250 residents.

Deputy Police Chief Gary Woodruff said the Caroling Cops will spread seasonal cheer with their music by making "flash song" appearances (suprise times and locations throughout the community) and they will make special appearances by making arrangements with DC Woodruff at gwoodruff@cityoflawrence.org.
