"Excellence in Black History" will be presented February 18

Council President Joe Williams invites the public to attend "Excellence in Black History" Saturday, February 18 at 2 p.m. The program will take place at Lawrence Central High School. Williams said guests may enter through door #11, located on the north side of the school.

Special guests include Congressman Andre Carson, State Representative John Bartlett and Mayor Steve Collier. Williams said Bartlett and Carson will be featured guest speakers for the event.
