Fireworks Do's and Dont's

Consumer Fireworks Do's and Dont's according to the local ordinances that govern use of fireworks and the timeframe they may be used in the coming days in the City of Lawrence. Consumer fireworks may be used within the City of Lawrence only between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and two hours after sunset on June 29, June 30, July 1, July 2, July 3, July 5, July 6, July 7, July 8, and July 9; between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight on July 4. Consumer fireworks may not be used on public property or shared common areas, including but not limited to municipal or other public parks, common or shared areas pertaining to residence subdivisions or other residential areas and streets, roads or any other public rights-of-way.
