Explorers honor Mrs. Allan from Southport at council meeting

LPD's Explorer Unit invited Lt. Aaron Allan's widow, Mrs. Stacy Allan to the Common Council meeting Wednesday evening where they presented her with a pendant necklace in remembrance of her husband's devotion to duty.The pendant features the Southport PD badge her husband honorably wore and served. LPD Chief David Hofmann introduced Explorer Bennett Lushin, who made the presentation to Mrs. Allan. Southport Chief of Police Thomas Vaughn accompanied Mrs. Allan to the ceremony.
